Questions About Handyman Work and Remodeling in St. Petersburg
These are the questions St. Petersburg homeowners ask us most: what
counts as a handyman job versus a remodel, how estimates from photos
work, where we travel, how long a bathroom takes, and what to have
ready before we come out. If yours is not here, call or text and we will answer it.
What counts as a handyman job and what counts as a remodel?
A handyman job is usually a list: a sticking door, a cracked wall, trim, a TV to mount. A remodel rebuilds the room, like a bathroom taken back to the studs and tiled. Flow Home Services does both, so one company can cover the list and the bigger job.
How do your estimates work?
Estimates are free. Text photos of the job to (727) 404-7164 and we can put a price together from the pictures. Bigger jobs get a look in person first. Either way, you get the scope in writing.
What areas do you work in?
St. Petersburg is home ground. We also drive about 15 miles across Pinellas County: Largo, Clearwater, Pinellas Park, Seminole, Gulfport and the beach towns. See the towns we drive to for the full list.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. Small repair lists are still regular work here. One visit can cover several items: hang a door, patch a wall, set a towel bar, touch up paint.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A full bathroom remodel usually runs a few weeks. Tear-out, waterproofing, tile, the vanity, trim and paint each need their turn, and tile sets the pace. The size of the room and how much gets replaced move that window. We go over the schedule when we price the job.
Do you work in condos?
Yes. We work in condos and older block homes around St. Petersburg. Many buildings have their own rules for renovation work. Send us what the association gave you and we plan the job around it.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. We work with customers in English and Spanish. Call or text (727) 404-7164 in either language.
What should I have ready before you come out?
Photos help most: a wide shot of the room and a close-up of the problem spot. Rough measurements are useful for a bathroom or a kitchen. If you have tile, paint or cabinet ideas saved, send those too.
